New Law Firm Opens in Colombia
As of August 11th, CÃ¡ez, GÃ³mez & Alcalde, MuÃ±oz Romero Asesores and MejÃa Mantilla Abogados have officialized their union after three years of negotiation. The merger aims to strengthen the firmâs presence in the Colombian, Andean and Caribbean legal market. The newly combined firm is led by Paula MuÃ±oz Romero, who has been selected to be managing partner.
The merger brings together three boutique law firms widely recognized for their permanent innovation of customer service standards, into an integrated multiservice law firm called CÃ¡ez MuÃ±oz MejÃa Abogados. The law firm expects $20,000m in revenue for this y ear and a 15% to 20% growth for next year, due to the firmâs consolidation to the market.
The partners Guillermo CÃ¡ez GÃ³mez, Paula MuÃ±oz Romero, Alejandro MejÃa OrtÃz and JosÃ© Luis JerÃ©z RosanÃ have broad experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, intellectual property and antitrust law, habeas data, corporate criminal law, compliance; as well as litigation and dispute resolution processes regarding commercial, civil and arbitral disputes.
